Vice President -Senior Manager
In 2014 Antoinette Stratton joined Balboa Management Group as Senior Manager. Prior to joining Balboa Management Group Antoinette spent over sixteen years in the HOA Industry. She has the unique experience of understanding each perspective as a Board Member, a Property Manager and a Vendor this is something that has allowed her to truly understand each group perspective as a Board Member, a Property Manager and a Vendor.
She served as Secretary at her homeowners Association and was involved in several large projects while on the Board of Directors. During her terms the association had all 111 units tented for termites. They also renovated the asphalt in the community and she was integral in having the trees trimmed and put on a three-year plan within the twenty-five-acre association that contained over several hundred trees.
Soon after joining her board she was recruited by a large Management Company where as a Community Property Manager, she managed a portfolio that included multimillion dollar single family homes, townhomes, PUD’s and condominiums throughout Orange County, Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. During this time, she negotiated contracts with vendors, prepared budgets and ensured her communities amenities were kept up and in compliance. She worked with numerous boards and many committees. She was a member of the California Associations Institute (CAI).
In 2005, she went to work for a Commercial Landscape company. While working as the Sales and Account Manager she continued to work with numerous boards and municipalities. In addition, she has championed several large projects such as turf removal for water conservation efforts, irrigation retrofits including the addition of smart timers which are energy efficient, water management programs to reduce unnecessary overwatering and runoff. Antoinette realized early on that providing good service with a positive, upbeat, attitude sets you apart from others. Antoinette continued to be a part of the CAI Community Associations Institute. While being a member she was part of several committees. She chaired the Ambassador Committee for several years winning Committee of the year on more than one occasion.
Her business relationships with trade vendors specializing in CIDs, common interest developments, has spanned over the last 16 years. She has many resources who are able to provide competitive pricing for community projects. Antoinette brings her expertise in landscape development to all the communities she services.
Born and raised in Southern California she and her husband continue to live and raise their family there. She is a Girl Scout Troop Leader and has been for the past seven years. she attended college here. Both of her daughters are in middle school. She is currently a CCAM, Certified Community Association Manager, with one of the most prestigious HOA trade organizations in California, CACM.
